About Kold Krash

This DJ and producer is based in Swaziland and is a frequent visitor to South African shores. He has achieved a distinctive sound that he has managed to craft over the years by both playing and producing dance music.

BACKGROUND

Krashs' big break came in mid '99 when he dropped his opening set for Dj Snoop at a graduation party which boasted an attendance of + - 1000 people and this gave him an opportunity to educate the Swaziland masses about true house music. His talent has been greatly influenced by the fact that his mother is a vocalist and this has led to a distinctive overtone in his chosen musical genre, and has also prompted his keen ear for fresh sounds. Since his early years he progressed to a two year residency at Club Sibebe and Between 2000 and 2001, he has featured on a variety of radio shows, namely Metrofm, and RS 2FM while continuing to rock the Swaziland club scene with appearances in places such as club Y2k, The Why Not disco, Club EL Paradiso and House on Fire. At the present moment, Kold Krash can be spotted doing underground gigs on local and international shores while also holding down a weekly radio show in SBS 2FM. He is also a regular feature at the DJ Lounge in Johannesburg for their Africanism Events.
